‍‍Airbotics Talent are exclusively partnered with an innovative global unmanned vehicle manufacturer, who operate in the AgTech market, to recruit a Field Service Technician to support their growing customer base in Napa and wider California. Candidates must live in California, or be able to relocate, and willing to travel to customer and distributor locations across state. My client will support relocation for those out of area.

The Role‍

‍

This role is critical in ensuring the deployment and continued operation of fleets of unmanned vehicles in the agricultural and farming markets across California. You will apply your in depth product knowledge and mechatronic skills to support end users and distributors in fault finding, training and supporting technical staff, partaking in demos and gathering information for future product improvements. Working closely with distributors and channel partners, you will upskill and support them with technical queries and challenges, empowering them to be able to manage similar customer queries direct. This role is customer facing and you will be the face of the business in the field. In future growth of the west coast and wider US team, you will impart your knowledge and product experience on others, helping to train and develop future service team members.

The Person‍

‍

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering or similar discipline
• A strong background working with complex hardware and electromechanical products. Understanding of Software and is also desired but not essential
• A minimum of 3-5 years of technical experience, with at least 2 in a customer facing role
• You will have previously worked within the Agri / AgTech or autonomous vehicle / robot industry, ideally for 3+ years
• Be confident working with customers, distributors and end users
• The ability to travel with work, both within California and occasionally out of state or internationally
• An honest, reliable and flexible character

Salary & Benefits

• $140,000-$180,000 basic
• Other (inclusive of 401k, medical etc)
• 20 days vacation + federal/state
